Hey the wordle guy sounds cool.

"I am a bit suspicious of mobile apps that demand your attention and send you push notifications to get more of your attention," he said.

"There are also no ads and I am not doing anything with your data, and that is also quite deliberate."

Asked whether he planned to make money from it, he said: "I don't understand why something can't just be fun. I don't have to charge people money for this and ideally would like to keep it that way."

Plus his last name is Wardle! Makes the game's name cuter.

@bright_helpings Yeah I liked this when I read it. And I like it's just one a day because he wanted it to be just a few minutes out of peoples lives (or, like 15 mins for me!)

@bright_helpings i think the wordle guy would fit right in here on the fediverse

@rozina This is a big reason I wanted to share this here!

@bright_helpings we should convince the wordle guy to sign up to an instance

@rozina @bright_helpings I actually wasn't aware this was some viral thing; I thought it actually was just a fediverse thing. :)

@bright_helpings I love the undercurrent of "why are you asking me if I'm going to change it, what's wrong with it now?"

@bright_helpings this might be the best place to ask, what hashtag are fediverse wordlers using?
