@hfrazey My daughter, here PCP and I had a good, balanced (I think) discussion about this, and I left it to my daughter to decide. She chose the vaccine. I’ve had HPV since I was a teenager, had two colposcopies, underwent a LEEP procedure in my 30s, and yearly paps for 10 years when results started coming back normal. No developed cervical cancer, but it was stressful for a few years.

(although it's commonly referred to as the "cervical cancer vaccine", it is actually the HPV vaccine. HPV causes cancers in places other than cervixes, so everyone should get it. This vaccine is producing amazing results, way better than expected - truly awesome.)
