I managed to leave my backpack on the bus yesterday, and nearly nothing of value was lost.

The backpack itself was over 10 years old and was starting to have zipperfails. I had a set of gym clothes in there,* a pair of headphones, and a pair of sport goggles.**

Maybe it'll turn up in the lost and found, but I'm okay if it doesn't.

Aaaaaand it showed up! Now to go retrieve it during M-F business hours??

@lawremipsum wouldn't it be nice if there was good transit service to there...

@lawremipsum it feels good to let go! Once I lost my winter hat on the bus and the next day by the bus stop I thought I saw someone wearing it and if it was my hat I felt glad they were using it. It was cold.

@james remembering things I'm carrying apparently doesn't spark joy 😅
