Despair, conceptual claustrophobia 

It feels like the shrinking pool of people who want to live in a functioning society is being dominated by the growing, vocal group of people who simply don't because selfishness is more satisfying to them.

I don't really understand how we're supposed to function like this.

Like, wearing masks was an absolute nothing of a social expectation for treating the people around you like their life had worth and HUGE SWATHS OF PEOPLE COULDN'T EVEN BE ASSED TO DO IT.

I'm supposed to "go back to normal" with that knowledge? I can't unlearn that I'm surrounded by sociopaths.

@lawremipsum At what point does a person say to themselves that this society is over and it's time to get out and move somewhere else? Been thinking about that one quite a bit lately.
