Even camel case looks weird on hashtags, I don't know why because it's what I'm accustomed to with code I write. I think there are just so many folks who don't use any caps in them at all that it's what my eye expects.
At the same time my slightly stuck-in-grade-school-grammar-lessons self wants to do initial caps for reasons that are not entirely clear to me (see aforementioned familiarity with programming).

It only looks weird to me when it's a hashtag. I work as a software engineer so I'm very used to using camel case for variable names.

@stelepami if we want to be honest about it I kinda feel like hashtags still look weird to me in general.
