Long story short, I believe that someone who has successfully represented people he had to persuade has the kind of political chops to rack up legislative victories in this state.

(That has more to do with people calling Tim Walz a centrist than anything. I find that entirely perplexing. And it really only betrays how, for a great number of people, "progressive" has come to describe not ideology inasmuch as campaign style.)
